Newly re-designed/improved and just released, no-bark collar. Along with a better circuit design that combines old techniques with new technology, there are also new features that you will find in no other bark collar on the market. For instance, the BC06 comes equipped with a built-in test light for easier testing of the unit. The "Smart chip" on board the BC06 can easily recognize and distinguish between nuisance barking and eating, shaking, to eliminate the chance of undeserved stimulation. But, when needed the "Smart Chip" provides 15 ascending levels of stimulation. If the dog is quiet for 30 minutes (or if power is turned off) the unit will reset back to level one of stimulation. Also, we've integrated the rotary coin slot on\off switch into the BC06 and added an LED light to let you know when the unit is on and functional. Once the unit is on the LED will stay lit for 5 seconds and then turn off letting you know the unit is ready for operation. The BC06 is constructed of polyurethane rubber to insure its 100% waterproof. The unit operates on a 9-Volt Alkaline battery. (included) It comes mounted on a 3/4" Duralon collar which, can be adjusted from 7" to 22". Operates approximately 2 months per battery.

Dogs like to bark, it is a part of their lives. Excessive barking and Nuisance barking can cause BIG poblems. Dogs lose their homes daily due to excessive/nuisance barking. In fact, the dog pounds and shelters are full of dogs where the dog owner(s) couldn't control the excessive/nuisance barking. Please understand that when a dog barks there is usually a reason. The reason could be as simple as the dog warning that there is a tresspasser or the dog may be exibiting separation anxiety. All in all addressing a dog barking problem can be an extremely difficult behavior to correct, since barking is sometimes just a symptom of an underlying problem. The dog owner is faced with four options when a excessive/nuisance barking problem developes.

1. Ingnore the problem, risking lose of sleep, neighborhood squabbles, and possible criminal charges.

2. Educate yourself in regards to dog behavior issues regarding excessive/nuisance barking and attempt to correct the problem.

3. Hire a professional dog trainer / behaviorist and have them attempt to correct the problem.

4. Purchase a good quality bark collar to correct the problem, when other forms of control do not work.

I strongly believe that the bark collar should be the last resort, but they are extremely effective. I have experimented with numerous collars over the years, and have found the BC06 bark collar is one of the best on the market. They are reliable, and don't give false corrections. The correction is automatic and automatically increases correction levels if the dog continues to bark. Also, the dog will quickly learn that when the collar is on the barking must stop, but with the collar off they can bark. So in other words your not totally stopping the barking, due to the fact some barking can be benificial, i.e. warning of intruders, etc.
